Why we built it
The group chat never settled.
We built PutUp because we lived it — spreadsheets that got abandoned, Venmo requests that never got paid, the same five guys arguing about whether a take "actually counted." PutUp is the version we wished existed: takes locked in escrow before kickoff, auto-settled within minutes of the final whistle, receipts that live on your group's record forever.

Is this real money?
Not yet. PutUp is currently in private beta using social credits. Real-money support will roll out once we're out of beta and have the proper state-by-state licensing in place.
